Welcome to a special Halloween episode of Wildstorm Addiction! Joe David Soliz and Ben Murphy bring you Wildstorm reviews and news for the week of October 20th 2010. Reviews including Dv8: Gods and Monsters #7 (of 8), Gen 13 #38, X-Files/30 Days of Night #4, and Ides of Blood #3 (of 6)!

00:00:35 – Joe welcomes everyone to Episode #18 for the week of October 20th 2010.

00:00:47 – Spoiler alerts warning, but all the written Wildstorm reviews at the site are spoiler free unless otherwise noted. Also brief Wildstorm news that is solemn in nature;

  • 00:00:57 – Colorist Jonny Rench passes away at age 28 of a heart attack.  Jonny worked on many Wildstorm titles including Welcome to Tranquility: One Foot in the Grave, Victorian Undead, and Killapalooza among many others as well.
  • 00:01:34 – Wildstorm Alumni news; Wildcats writer Adam Beechen has been writing the Batman Beyond mini-series and will start as an ongoing series in January 2011, Wildcats penciler Tim Seeley will write and pencil ANT-MAN & THE WASP 3-issue mini-series beginning in November. Rebekah Isaacs’ new creator-owned project called Magus (first announced on Episode 2 of our podcast) will release in Dec. from 12 Gauge comics (preview pages at CBR).

00:10:49 – Joe gives his take on Dv8: Gods and Monsters #7 (of 8).

00:22:43 – Ben reviews X-Files/30 Days of Night #4 (of 6) written by Steve Niles and Adam Jones, interior art by Tom Mandrake, and cover by Andrea Sorrentino.

00:34:43 – Joe reviews Ides of Blood #3 (of 6) written by Stuart C. Paul, with art by Christian Duce, and cover by Michael Geiger.
