Show Notes:
Welcome to another episode of Wildstorm Addiction! Joe David Soliz and Ben Murphy bring you Wildstorm reviews and news for the weeks of November 17th, 24th and December 1st 2010. Reviews including Wildcats #29, Ides of Blood #4 (of 6), X-files/30 Days of Night #5 (of 6) , and the Authority #29!

00:00:35 – Joe welcomes everyone to Episode #20 for the weeks of November 17th, 24th and December 1st 2010.

00:00:47 – Joe gives a quick Wildstorm Bleed posting update. Marc Silvestri and Eric Larsen variant cover for the 2006 Morrison/Lee WildCats #1-2: WorldStorm Series were posted supposedly as a gift to Wildstorm fans. These will not likely ever be published in print.

00:01:37 – Spoiler alerts warning, but all the written Wildstorm reviews at the site are spoiler free unless otherwise noted.

00:01:54 – Joe reviews Ides of Blood #4 (of 6) written by Stuart C. Paul, art by Christian Duce and cover by Michael Geiger.

00:09:00 – Ben loves, loves, loves Ides of Blood! Wow did we get some great creator owned series to read and review at the end of the Wildstorm run! I’ll quote myself from the podcast, “fantastic from beginning to end!”

00:10:33 – Ben reviews Wildcats #29 written by Adam Beechen with art by Mike S. Milller and cover by Tim Seeley & Allen Martinez.

00:23:21 – Joe feels like this is the part in the movie where you know it’s the final epic scene and you aren’t sure who you are going to get to see before it all ends in the Wildcats. He loves how Adam Beechen is incorporating all of the unique  core Wildstorm concepts into this book and merging them all together as it winds down to the end.

00:29:47 – Joe reviews X-files/30 Days of Night #5 (of 6) written by Steve Niles & Adam Jones with art by Tom Mandrake and cover by Andrea Sorrentino.

00:35:29 – Ben doesn’t have much to add to Joe’s synopsis of X-files/30 Days of Night, it’s just a fun solid read.

00:38:12 – Ben reviews the final issue of the Authority #29 written by Tom Taylor and art by Al Barrionuevo and cover art by Tim Seeley and Allen Martinez.

00:46:18 – Joe gives his thoughts about the final issue of the Authority and what it means as whole for the universe, but doesn’t give us a rating!

00:53:36 – Ben gives you both the print and digital Wildstorm Releases for the weeks of 11/17, 11/24, and 12/1.

00:56:41 – Joe gives you are contact info which you will find below and says good night.

  1. The ending to The Authority #29 made me want to bang my head against the wall a few dozen times.

  2. It was a great issue but it was a huge tease knowing so much was left dangling out there likely to never be resolved.
