Ravagers continues to prove its a fresh new book in the New 52. It also takes time to introduce an old Teen Titans villain into the mix and even starts alluding to storylines started over in Animal Man and Swamp Thing. It’s unexpected connections to the rest of the DCU that are keeping this book interesting and reminding us just how inter-connected the New 52 has been.

Grifter #11
After taking a sharp 180 with the new creative team a couple of issues back, the Grifter title has been a mixed bag. However, much like last issue’s surprise revelation, Tieri and Liefeld are starting to interject some interesting twists that are reminiscent of what Josh Williamson did when he came on Voodoo’s book. Hopefully, these twists will be enough to get people drawn back to this book.
Stormwatch #11
After a slow-paced last issue, Stormwatch is back and kicking this month. Milligan takes an odd premise but puts a spin on it that creates a truly threatening adversary for Stormwatch. Other than some problems with shifting in the inks for the art, we get a strong issue that leaves some great threads open for future stories.
Voodoo #10
The latest issue of Voodoo takes the book in a new direction (literally) as the setting for the story switches to outer space. The story is interesting and strong art by Basri continue to make it a good title but the recent news of the titles cancellation kind of put a damper on things.
