With Liefeld’s influence gone, Frank Tieri is able to steer this book on a course even if it’s scheduled to sink with next month’s cancellation. But I was hoping for a strong finish for the series and everything seemed to be improved with this issue. Tieri has done his best to string together the mess this series has been so far and even Maraty Mychaels’ art seemed to be improved as well.

Wildstorm Addiction Podcast – Episode 41
Welcome to another episode of Wildstorm Addiction! Our resident Wildstorm experts Joe David Soliz & Benjamin Murphy review the new DCU versions of Stormwatch #14, Grifter #14, Ravagers #6, and Team 7 #2, as well as some other Wildstorm appearances in the new DCU 52!
Ben welcomes everyone to episode #41 and gives his spoiler alerts warning. Remember, all written reviews on the website are spoiler free and usually get posted within a day of print release. Plenty of Wildstorm news to cover this month.
Hot on the tail of the news that the title is being cancelled, we get a fun, albeit shallow, issue of Grifter. While the issue was enjoyable it was a quick read and the logic behind the result of the fight between Midnighter and Grifter still has me scratching my head. At this point, all we can hope for is some entertaining issues before the end.
