Show Notes:
Welcome to another episode of Wildstorm Addiction! Our resident Wildstorm experts Joe David Soliz & Benjamin Murphy review the DCU “The Culling” crossover of Teen Titans Annual #1, Superboy #9, Legion Lost #9 and Teen Titans #9 as well as the spin-off from the Culling crossover and the only new title from the new DCU 52 Ravagers #1.

00:00:34  – Ben welcomes everyone to a special episode #35 for the month of June 2012 and gives his spoiler alerts warning. Remember, all written reviews on the website are spoiler free unless otherwise noted and usually get posted within a day of print release.

00:02:25 – Joe gives an overview of Teen Titans Annual #1 (Part 1 of 4, “The Culling”), released on 5/02, written by Scott Lobdell and Tom DeFalco with art and cover by Brett Booth. This was a long issue and Joe did an epic job giving this review! (Even though I told him to keep it tight ;-P)

00:22:43 – Ben summarizes Superboy #9 (Part 2 of 4, “Lost Claws”) released on 5/09, written by Scott Lobdell with art by R.B. Silva. This issue focuses on Superboy’s part in this fight and his mental tug of war of which side of the fight he truly should be part of.

00:30:34 – Joe tries to breeze through Legion Lost #9 (Part 3 of 4, “Unbeatable”) released on 5/09, written by Tom DeFalco with art by Pete Woods. This is Joe’s first ever Legion Lost issue he has read which focuses on the team and why Harvest brought them into this fight and possibly this century!

00:37:54 – Ben blurbs Teen Titans #9 (Part 4 of 4, “If This be Victory!”) released on 5/23, written by Scott Lobdell with art by Ig Guara and cover by Brett Booth.

00:45:11 – Joe gives a brief review of the Ravagers #1 (Part 5 of 4?, “Children of Destiny”) released on 5/30, written by Howard Mackie with art by and cover by Ian Churchill.

00:54:01 – Ben and Joe each summarize their thoughts about the books and the multi-title crossover as a whole.

00:57:05 – Ben gives a run-down on the upcoming books and character appearances in the new DCU relaunch. Remember, all these books are available digitally the same day as the print release at the DC section of www.comixology.com.
