Gen 13 Heroclix are coming!

There is not an official annoucement yet but I figured Wiz Kids wouldn’t go through the trouble of posting this if it wasn’t a sure thing. Wiz Kids on Facebook told fans recently that if they reached 13,000 likes on their page they would reveal some exclusive content. Well it did so they did. They released an image that had a ton of upcoming figures but the one that caught our attention was prototypes for the Gen 13 kids!

Ravagers #7

Another strong issue of The Ravagers as we get interesting story developments courtesy of writer Howard Mackie. Unfortunately, this is the last issue for Mackie and artist Ian Churchill. The art duties are shared by Churchill and three other artists. But thankfully (and surprisingly) the art changes are not as jarring. We also get a new character but her introduction leaves into question how much we’ll see of her in the future. Overall, still a great title and one I look forward to each month.

Team 7 #3

Team 7 is in the house! This title gets stronger and stronger with each new issue. Julius Gopez on art has been much more enjoyable these last couple of issues. Jordan also throws in a little Indiana Jones/ G.I. Joe flavor with this issue that really gives the team a chance to shine. I feel this title is finally getting its footing. Toting itself as the history of the New 52 is a big job but I feel it’s one Jordan is handling really well.

Grifter #15

With Liefeld’s influence gone, Frank Tieri is able to steer this book on a course even if it’s scheduled to sink with next month’s cancellation. But I was hoping for a strong finish for the series and everything seemed to be improved with this issue. Tieri has done his best to string together the mess this series has been so far and even Maraty Mychaels’ art seemed to be improved as well.
