Wiz Kids just keeps the early Christmas presents coming as they announced today the release of The Ravagers as part to the Teen Titans Heroclix. The set includes Caitlin Fairchild, Ridge, Thunder, Lightning, Beast Boy, and Terra.

Ravagers #6
Surprisingly a great jumping on point for new readers, this issue delivers on the action and gives us lots of great moments between the characters. The guest-appearance by Superboy helps add to the struggle these characters are facing and I’m loving the relationship (not a romantic one) that he’s developed with Cailtlin Fairchild. On top of that we get a great art tag-team with Ian Churchill & Tyler Kirkham. All around, a superb issue and one that reminds me why this is one of my favorite books right now.

Ravagers #5
Picking up directly from where issue 4 left us, the group finally comes to some realizations that cause them to go from a group to a team. It’s good to have the creative team of writer Howard Mackie with artist Ian Churchill again. I feel the stronger issues of the title so far have been the ones with both of them on board. This narrowly beat out Stormwatch as my favorite book this month.
