Grifter’s zero issue turns out to be a major mind-screw and Liefeld and Tieri play with our senses, making the audience question what’s real and what’s not. It’s a very interesting technique and a bold choice for the zero issue. It’s not as epic as the last issue, but definitely sets up a ton of questions that carry us into the next arc for this series.

Team 7 #0
Zero Month in the New 52 also brings a new wave of books with it and one of those is Team 7; a legendary team from the old Wildstorm Universe. Much like a Mission Impossible movie, Justin Jordan is tasked with introducing (or re-introducing) lots of characters in this book. It’s a fast-paced issue that does its job well by not only being an awesome origin issue but also a great jumping on point for anyone who wants another chance to get into the New 52.
Stormwatch #0
DC’s Zero Month kicks off strong with a revealing and surprise-guest filled issue. The team’s deep roots in the DCU New 52 are laid out and they answer a few questions while posing some interesting new ones. They’re really pushing Stormwatch as the hidden dimension of the DCU and so far I think they’re doing a great job!
Voodoo #12
The regular series story arc comes to an end and it surprisingly leaves a lot of dangling plotlines. Even though the series ends after issue zero next month, it is interesting that there’s so many unresolved stories but thankfully they appear to have plans to continue them elsewhere.
