Stormwatch #4

After an amazing last issue, the action continues this month as the Stormwatch team wraps up their first big mission. Midnighter and Apollo fans should enjoy this issue a lot as the two get to shine and even share some good moments together. It’s the definitely cool to see these two in action together again.

Wildstorm Addiction Podcast – Episode 27

Welcome to another episode of Wildstorm Addiction! Our resident Wildstorm experts Joe David Soliz & Benjamin Murphy review the new DCU versions of Stormwatch #2, Voodoo #2 and Grifter #2. This is our first regular month episode with the inclusion of all of the titles we normally cover from the Wildstorm Universe in the new DCU. As well as any other appearances by other Wildstorm characters in the new DCU titles.

We do spoil the books we review in the podcasts, but remember that all written reviews on the website are spoiler free and usually get posted within a day of print release.

Stormwatch #3

THIS was the issue of Stormwatch I knew Cornell was building up to. There are some amazing concepts and some incredible action in this issue. If there are some people out there who follow the “I’ll get the first 3 issues and see where it goes” method, I hope that this issue has solidified Stormwatch as part of your monthly buys!

Stormwatch #2

“The Dark Side-Part 2” (No Spoilers) Now I can tell Paul Cornell’s starting to have fun with this title. The opening page of this book alone is the most epic tongue-in-cheek moment I’ve ever seen! I also like the dysfunction between the team members. I know Cornell mentioned in interviews that we’ll be seeing the team falling apart. When you see how they treat each other it’s a wonder they ever came together in the first place.
Cornell also does good to answer some of the fanboy rants about the encounter with Martian Manhunter and Midnighter last issue. The great thing is, I think Cornell anticipated the reaction and quickly answers the issue that angered so many fans last issue.
